DU offers both the Cecchetti as well as Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet syllaubs to our students.

 

Cecchetti ballet is a timeless and structured method of classical ballet training that remains for students today.  Rooted in the principles of Enrico Cecchetti, this approach emphasises precision, musicality, and the seamless flow of movement.

RAD ballet offers a well-rounded approach to ballet that nurtures both technical proficiency and artistic expression, with a focus on discipline, creativity, and passion for the dance.

Ballet provides dancers with a strong technical foundation while fostering artistry and discipline, qualities essential for both recreational and professional dancers.  With its carefully graded syllabus, Cecchetti ballet allows students to progress at their own pace, ensuring a comprehensive and well-rounded education in the art of ballet.
